Initial Frustration
I've been neglecting of my blog so far. I believe I've become too mired down in created something good instead of just creating anything in terms of our CSS assignments. Having made several webpages using tables and otherwise, it's been a fairly difficult transition designing with style sheets. I have in my mind an image of the page I should be able to create. This page is based in my experience using tables, etc. and creating that page with CSS a lot harder, not because CSS is necessarily harder but because my mind hasn't adjusted to the new set of standards, capabilities, and limitations. This has been especially frustrating on the graphic design front, something I enjoy the most with when designing webpages.

I used to have the same problem: I did not want to build ugly pages, so I would keep telling myself "as soon as I come up with the perfect design, I'll write the code to make it happen." The problem was, I wasn't building any pages. So I took a deep breath and threw together the ugliest page I'd ever seen. But the next one was better, and the next one better still, etc.
